Contract/Interim Market

The Review of Public Administration has caused significant changes to the temporary recruitment market within Northern Ireland. There is a continued shortage of qualified finance candidates and the increased demand for individuals particularly on a contract basis has resulted in a substantial increase in the hourly rates paid to those suitably qualified. This general trend has also attracted more candidates to the public sector market with better rates of pay and longer contracts than are currently available in industry.
